Wir sind mit drei Familien mit - schon erwachsenen - Kindern mit einer Mischung aus Vorfreude und Anspannung bei der Villa Marion angekommen. Vorfreude, weil die Bilder im Internet so unglaublich schön und vielversprechend waren. Anspannung, weil wir befürchtet haben, dass der Schein der Bilder trügen könnte. Aber das Gegenteil war der Fall. Die Bilder zeigen sehr genau den architektonischen Ideenreichtum, die kluge und liebevolle Gestaltung der Räume bis ins kleinste Detail, den herrlichen, genussvollen Außenbereich mit großem Swimming-Pool und oft benutzter Außenküche. Was man auf den Fotos aber nicht sehen kann, ist die gute Energie, der liebevolle Geist und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, die Ante und seine Familie dem Haus eingeimpft haben und in der persönlichen Begegnung stets zeigten. Kein Wunder also, dass wir uns eine Woche lang sehr wohl gefühlt haben und die Zeit dort, das Kochen und Essen, das Spielen, das Schwimmen, das Relaxen, einfach alles – in vollen Zügen genossen haben. So sehr, dass viel weniger in Istrien unternommen haben, als wir ursprünglich vorhatten. Es war wirklich schwer, die Villa Marion zu verlassen. Nochmals ein großer Dank an Ante und seine Familie für ihre Freundlichkeit und Großzügigkeit.

"It’s the best villa! Welcome by Ante and his wife was great. During the tour they explained all the details of the villa. Everything is new (summer 2024). We enjoyed every moment. From the comfortable bedrooms (all with an amazing bathroom) to the kitchen, outside kitchen, bbq, tabletennis and ofcourse the fantastic pool. During our stay we were in close contact with the owner (Ante) to get tips for restaurants and what to do in Istria. We would 100% recommend this villa!"

Our group of three families, with kids aged 9 to 21, had an unforgettable summer holiday at Villa Marion. This stunning villa, originally an 1890 farmhouse, has been beautifully renovated, blending modern design with its original charm. The furnishings are top-notch, far better than typical villa rentals, and the villa is equipped with everything you need, including a BBQ grill and a perfect pool area where the teens loved hanging out. The spacious, comfortable rooms have excellent air conditioning, and the thick stone walls kept us cool even during a heatwave. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of our hosts, Ante and his wife. They arranged for fresh farm produce and were always available for recommendations or any assistance we needed. Their attentiveness and warmth made our stay even more special. Tip: You must try the local eggs, tomatoes and potatoes (Mona Lisa type) - they are so fresh and delicious! Villa Marion was the best find we’ve had on Bookings.com, and we can’t recommend it enough. It’s a perfect 10, and we’re sure it’ll be booked out next summer!

Our stay at the villa was amazing. The house, restored from an old country home using stone and wood, was charming and comfortable. The pool was perfect for relaxing and added a special touch to the property. The host was very friendly and helpful, recommending great places to visit and excellent wines to try. Overall, it's a perfect place to unwind in the countryside with a touch of luxury and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Čudovita vila, urejena z veliko ljubezni ter občutkom za lokalno arhitekturo. Ima velik vrt z lepim bazenom ter letno kuhinjo z zunanjim prostorom za sedenje. Nahaja se na popolnoma mirni lokaciji. Le kratka vožnja z avtomobilom je do bližnjih plaž in restavracij, kljub temu pa smo najbolj uživali kar v vili.Otrokom je bil všeč vrt z veliko možnostmi za igro. Vila je idealna za družinska druženja ali zabave za velike družbe. Vsekakor priporočam bivanje tukaj! Hvala, da smo bili vaši prvi gosti 🙂
